Description
This hyperrealistic drawing of J.I.D. was made in 2019 using charcoal pencils (B, 4B and 8B), a black watercolor pencil and white gelpen for highlights. The reference for this drawing is a moment in the Colors Studio perfomance of Workin Out (0:55 to be precise).
JID is a Atlanta raised rapper who’s climbing to the top as we speak. He is signed to J. Cole’s label Dreamville. He is known for his complex and fast-paced flow, as well as his socially conscious and introspective lyrics. In the Never Story, his 2017 album, he showed his diverse capabilities. In DiCaprio 2 includes the song Workin Out, the inspired this drawing, he showed his progression. The Forever Story serves as a sequel to The Never Story and only confirms the talent this guy has.
