Description
This painting was created in 2024 using acrylic paint. It was inspired Mac Miller’s posthumous album “Circles”. Inspired by the music and the name of this album, the painting was created by using circular objects of different sizes as stamps by dipping them in black paint. The circles together form Mac sitting there and staring at you.
Mac Miller was an American rapper, singer, and record producer known for his introspective lyrics and unique style. He released several successful projects, ranging from the youthful KIDS to the drugs-influenced Macadelic and Faces, to the revelating and honest Swimming and posthumous album Circles. Mac passed away in 2018 at the age of 26, but left a lasting impact on the world of rap music.
