Description
This painting of Dutch rapper Winne was made in 2025. It shows Winne with the cover of his 2009 album Winne Zonder Strijd in the background. Added is the face of his late colleague rapper and close friend Feis.
Winne is a Rotterdam based rapper and released his debute album Winne Zonder Strijd in 2009. It was very well received and certified his name as one of the top rappers of The Netherlands. The album cover shows Winne with dark red dots. In this painting, the album cover was used as inspiration for the background. Using the method of red dots, Feis’ face was created subtly. Both Winne en Feis are Dutch rappers from Rotterdam connected by their group “Ecktuh-Ecktuh”. They are considered an inseparable duo. Unfortunately, Feis was killed after new years eve on the 1st of January 2019.

Het is een prachtige poster van W-I-DUBBEL N-E en zijn ”Lotgenoot” Feis die helaas niet meer met ons is sinds 2019 , maar we zijn Feis niet vergeten , want hij was een Ecktuh mannetje , hij was niet bang om te gaan door de handen van een andere man, er zit heel veel geschiedenis achter dit kunstwerk, deze twee hiphopartiesten zijn voor mij de beste van heel Nederland, Shout-Out naar Pencilking, the king of pencils voor dit kunstwerk so so lobi
