This painting of Mac Miller was made in 2021 using acrylic paint. The look Mac has here shows his honesty, almost childlike innocence mixed with a scent of regret. Unfortunately the photographer who made the reference picture is unknown to me, which is why no name is mentioned.
Mac Miller was an American rapper, singer, and record producer known for his introspective lyrics and unique style. One of the few artists I admire that also feels like a longterm friend (eventhough we never met). He released several successful projects, ranging from the youthful KIDS to the drugs-influenced Macadelic and Faces, to the revelating and honest Swimming. Mac passed away in 2018 at the age of 26, but left a lasting impact on the world of rap music.
